Diamant Marble Soft and Abrasive DIA 400/60

Diamond blade with nominal diameter 400/60, designed for cutting soft and abrasive marbles.

It consists of a 390 mm diameter steel core, 2.5 mm thick, sandwich-type silenced, with a 60 mm central bore.
The blade is fitted with 28 diamond segments specifically for marble, measuring 40 × 3.6 × 7 mm.

The actual outer diameter when new is 404 mm, while with the segments fully worn the final diameter of the blade will be 390 mm.

This tool is the result of over 60 years of SD Diamant experience in the stone cutting industry.
Although it can be successfully used on a wide range of marbles, it is specifically designed for soft and abrasive materials such as travertine, sandstone, tuff, and similar materials.

The main characteristics of the blade are:

• clean, smooth cutting without chipping (compatible with the fragile nature of the material);
• high cutting speed;
• excellent service life, even on particularly abrasive materials.

In the event of cutting materials outside the intended range of use, especially if the cuts are prolonged and repetitive, excessive chipping, out-of-square cuts, and a consequent blade closing may occur.

Under these conditions, it is necessary to dress the blade in order to restore its original factory performance.

All other operating instructions (rotational speed, feed rate, tolerances, etc.) are indicated on the packaging carton supplied with the blade.
