Diamond blade with nominal diameter 400/60, designed for cutting hard, non-abrasive marbles.
This blade is also the result of over 60 years of SD Diamant experience in the stone cutting industry.
It can be successfully used on a wide range of natural stones, but it is specifically designed for hard, non-abrasive materials such as fine-grained marbles that can be polished and are commonly referred to as “glassy” (vitreous).
The main characteristics of the blade are:
- clean cutting;
- straight and precise cutting;
- high cutting speed.

Diamond blade with nominal diameter 400/60, designed for cutting hard, non-abrasive marbles.
It consists of a 390 mm diameter steel core, 2.5 mm thick, sandwich-type silenced, with a 60 mm central bore.
The blade is fitted with 28 diamond segments specifically for marble, measuring 40 × 3.6 × 7 mm.
The actual outer diameter when new is 404 mm, while with the segments completely worn the final blade diameter will be 390 mm.

In the event of cutting materials outside the intended range of use (outside the area indicated above), especially when cuts are prolonged and repetitive, the following conditions may occur:
- excessive chipping and out-of-square cuts, with possible blade closing, when used on soft, non-abrasive marbles;
- excessive segment wear when cutting hard, abrasive marbles;
- reduced cutting speed accompanied by high wear when used on soft, abrasive marbles.
All other operating instructions (rotational speed, feed rate, tolerances, etc.) are indicated on the packaging carton supplied with the blade.
