Drill D35 19+8 with 4 sectors – 1×8 LHS

Drill bit with an external diameter of 35.4 mm and an internal diameter of 33.2 mm, useful length 27 mm (19 mm body + 8 mm diamond).

Equipped with a double ½” left-hand male gas connection and an internal Allen key for removal from the machine.
Fitted with 4 thin diamond segments measuring 24 × 1.1 × 8 mm, it is ideal for cutting hard materials.

The drill bit has been designed to be mounted as an auxiliary tool on the blade axis of third-generation machines and is optimized to reduce cycle times during the combined cutting and drilling function.

The result of SD Diamant’s experience, this tool features advanced technical characteristics:

• very thin, spaced segments for improved material evacuation;
• extremely compact design, ensuring maximum performance in confined spaces.

The drill bit is designed to work in combination with the cutting blade, even when making inclined cuts over 45°. To avoid any interference with the material, the external wrench has been eliminated and replaced with an internal Allen key.

It is also equipped with an oversized water passage hole, ensuring effective coolant discharge even at high flow rates and very high pressures.

The slightly oversized diameter (+0.4 mm compared to the nominal 35 mm) allows the hole to remain within tolerance even in the case of slight segment wear, ensuring feed speed and long service life, which remain the main strengths of this tool.
